Dope
Now wouldn't this be awesome. I think people that photoshop these types of things are dope. Apple doesn't even have to design anything anymore with these guys giving them ideas. C'mon vista photoshoppers make something MS can use.

Does Josh Childress' departure to Europe cause concern for the NBA.
For those who haven't heard Josh Childress has headed for Europe and left the NBA for the time being. He was offered 3 year and 20 million (tax free) and even though he is a restricted free agent his offer can't be matched because the team he is going to is out of the league. Now I wouldn't call Josh Childress one of the leagues premier players, but he definitely isn't a 12th man in search of a way to play ball. Logically and financially it all makes sense. He gets paid and plus he gets to star.
What could this mean for the level of NBA play?
Well assuming Josh Childress is the only one considering this then theres not too much to consider. However if underpaid and productive players like childress start jumping ship to Europe then what is going to happen to our game. College kids that think they're late first and second rounders in the draft might just for go the whole process. A player who stars in College but won't even start in the NBA might want to consider this option. With that being said the level of the NBA bench could drop drasticly.
What this means for European Basketball?
If the Euro leagues can score this type of talent in their league it makes their product better. If their product is better then in theory their product will be watched more and it will attract more people cause them to earn more money. More money could mean having the ability to recruit more solid NBA players and quite possibly some stars. And we're not talking old worn out stars here, we're talking still in their prime stars. Jason Richardson is a good example. He's not getting any All Star votes but he is a good player, a great player. If some Euro team invests in this High Flyer he could be their MJ. And thats great for Europeans and the sport of basketball becoming international.
International Players.
Ok if Europe is going to be the place to be why would European players want to come here. If you can bank over in Europe then why the hell not. Its closer to home it's all basketball and you don't even have to embarrass your self by speaking English poorly(no offense). In America its every kids dream to make it to the NBA but is it the same in other Countries. Do those kids want to make it in America or might they just be satisfied with making it in their home countries. If the money isn't a factor then why move. Some players play the game to win and playing against easier opponents is an easy win.
A potiential Merger in place?
While highly unlikey based on geographical location, we've seen the leagues like ABA and the AFL take some quality talent away from the big boys. These issues could result in maybe 2 really cool ideas.
1. A merger of Euro leagues and the NBA. (Very Doubtful)
2. A Basketball version of the Super Bowl. If the talent level gets to almost even then why can't NBA champs and Euro League Champs meet for a Best of 7 Games.

Nas on Colbert
I just finished watching the Colbert Report with special guest Nas. As soon as i can find the video for it I'll put it up. But it was pretty entertaining and its kinda nice to see Nas get interviewed by a non hip hop head. He was talking about his petition against fox news and then gave a little preformance of Sly Fox.

Fox News Isn't so bad
I mean I know people might take offense to this. Some say that it's not so fair and balanced, but i honestly think it is. Let me explain. Would your rather watch Fox News or CNN or MSNBC. I don't know about you guys but i'd rather watch Fox because even if they might veer closer to the right then other news stations atleast i can get some actual perspective on things. I mean seriously CNN and MSNBC can't give me what Fox has. Remember its not just Bill there are other shows on that really talk politics and news. It might not be quite as newsbased as CNN but do you really want to hear what they have to offer.

Obama doesn't write his own speeches
So why should rappers not be able to have ghostwriters. I mean what if every politician were forced to write their own speeches? The same principle can apply to rappers. Say you have a guy like Dr. Dre who has been known to have ghostwriters and an unknown rapper/songwriter has the lyrics that can put his album over the top. What do you say then? It's okay because he's Dr. Dre? What if it was Nas? Ice Cube? Jay-Z? There is a certain image that that these rappers uphold a certain image. Case in point Ice Cube. We know him now as the guy in friday. barbershop, and other movies. But back in the days before i was born people used to think he was the baddest dude alive. I still think he is but thats not the point. Here's a hypothetical, Ice Cube has a new album coming out and he's brainstorming ideas at this stage. Maybe he's got 4 songs completed he's still looking for beats. He gets a call from Lupe Fiasco, not exactly a rapper with that gangster image. Lupe says I got a song for you I got a beat and I have the lyrics. Ice Cube says come on over. Lupe writes this super political song on some black power stuff. However when he wrote this song he got in his Ice Cube gangster mode. He doesn't believe the world would be ready to hear this song if Lupe Fiasco rapped it, but if it was Ice Cube the world might embrace it.
If Cube takes the song is it wrong?
If he gives credit to Lupe is it okay then?
Is ghostwriting okay?
